Nederlandse Breidagen Zwolle 20 en 21 Oktober

We are very excited to be exhibiting at the Nederlandse Breidagen in Zwolle next week on 20th and 21st October  It will be a great event with lots of stalls, workshops and general info about knitting and crocheting .

Melanie Berg is the main guest! She is doing a free lecture on the life of a designer and several different workshops on shawls – all very exciting!

For more info and lists of the exhibitors , details of workshops, information about the yarn tasting  check out – Nederlandse Breidagen .

We are launching several new yarns at the Breidagen –  De Rerum Natura – These are French woolen yarns of made with a mix of French wool and other merinos made in an ecological way. The yarns are soft but wooly and hand wash! – no superwash here!  In our collection we have  Ulysse (sport weight), Gilliatt (worsted/aran) and Cyrano (bulky) and a small selection of  Pénélope (DK).

The second exciting yarn is Tukuwool, from Finland  – tukuwool

This yarn is dyed and spun in Finland with Finnish wool. It is small collection with sock yarn and fingering weight! A real liefhebber yarn!

The Fibre Co are sponsoring the yarn for Melanie Berg’s workshop and we are luckily enough to have  The Fibre Co Cumbria Fingering and the new Arranmore Light, a lovely soft tweed with a little silk and cashmere in, as well as the rest of our collection of Cumbria Worsted, Canopy and Road to China light and Lace.

More exciting news is that we’ll also be exhibiting Handwerk Beurs België – this event will be held at the Exop in Ghent from 10-12 November! handwerkbeurs.nl

This event is not just for knitters but more for crafters, so there will be losts of other delight, we’ll be taking a wide selections of fabrics including Atelier Brunette, Merchant & Mills, Eva Mouton and Lotte Martens to name just a few!

We are looking forwards to seeing old customers and new at either or both of these fairs!
