Pauline’s new projects!

Vertices Unite | Cross and Woods

A new year means new projects! – well any excuse to cast on something new works for me. My first project is not really a new one, but actually my third – another Vertices Unite from Stephen West. I, always moan, that this shawl is more than tedious to knit but yet it remains my favourite shawl to wear. Why? it keeps you warm, but is light and easy to take with you.

This version will be knit in the amazing Walk Collection  – specifically the Cozy Mohair together with Isager Highland wool as the chili colour is so amazing.

The project i have just finished is the Mystery KAL from NNK ( Never Not Knitting). Alana Dakos is well known for her cables and leaf patterns. She has written several books included Botanical Knits – maybe her best known book. So when i found this Mystery KAL on Ravelry i just had to make it! So several skeins of Malabrigo Rios later this amazing shawl was finished. It is big enough to wrap up in and stay toasty warm
