Please note that shipping may take longer than stated due to the global pandemic and fluctuating government regulations.
Free Shipping is available within the Netherlands above €100 excluding shipping costs, this will be visible when viewing the cart or checking out.
Free shipping elsewhere is €250 within Europe and €375 outside of Europe.
We ship to most places worldwide. If your country isn’t listed, please contact us directly. Items being shipped out of the EU they may be subject to taxes, customs duties and possibly extra fees levied by the destination country. The responsibility of payment of these fees is for the buyer and not Cross & Woods.

DHL Express Shipping
When DHL Express is selected as a shipping method, the shipping cost is an automatic estimate from DHL. The actual cost may be higher due to the size of the item to be shipped. In the event that the shipping cost is higher, we will require you to pay the additional cost of the item, or we will do our best to offer an alternative shipping option.

VAT & Shipping to UK after Brexit
We try to offer the best rates of shipping to the UK. If the subtotal of your goods (excluding VAT and shipping costs) is less than €157 (135 GBP as of 7/1/2021), we will charge 20% UK VAT on your order.
If the subtotal of your goods (excluding VAT and shipping costs) is equal to or more than €157 (135 GBP as of 7/1/2021), we will not charge you VAT on your order, but you will have to pay the VAT to the courier company (in most cases DHL) once the goods have arrived in the UK.
With DHL Parcel, the customs clearance cost is collected at our website checkout. The customs clearance cost is a surcharge levied by the UK government for the goods to be allowed into the UK. It is not VAT.
DHL Express does not include the customs clearance cost or any other additional duties and taxes levied by the UK government.
Due to fluctuating exchange rates, it is possible that you may have been charged VAT by Cross & Woods, and charged VAT in the UK. If this happens, we will refund the VAT that you paid to Cross & Woods on your order upon your proof of payment of VAT to the courier.

Processing your Order
Our goal is to process and ship your order within 2 business days after the transaction is fully completed and we have received the payment in full. Our business Days are Monday to Friday weekly with the exception of planned holiday days, where the shop will not be open and online orders will not be processed.
In the unfortunate event that we do not have all items in stock, we will try to contact you as soon as possible (by phone or email) to find a fitting solution.

Track & Trace
We ship almost all items standard with track & trace. Your track & trace code is send to you directly by our postal service company, which can sometime take up to 12-24 hours after collection from our store. *Please check your spam filter in case you haven’t received the email.
DHL Parcel – email is sent from DHL.
DHL Express – email is sent from DHL.
DHL Global – email is sent from Deutsche Post Group or a local courier at the destination country.
If you we have sent the item by a courier not listed above, we will inform you.
Fraud Prevention. Some bad actors may try to imitate our courier emails, particularly for payments. Please be vigilant of the email content and should you have any doubt, please contact us directly and we will do our best to resolve.

Although we try to get your order to you as fast as we can, delivery times outside of the Netherlands can vary and any delivery times shown on our website are estimates only.

Returns
You may return your purchased items within 14 days or receiving, excluding items that are made and/or cut to order.
If you would like to return items, you must contact us before returning them. All items must be returned in perfect condition. We will fully refund the amount of the returned items and if we shipped incorrect items to you or sent damaged or faulty goods, we will also refund the shipping costs for your order.
We will not refund shipping costs for returned orders if you have changed your mind or have decided that you do not want the items ordered. Shipping costs incurred by you returning the goods will only be refunded under the following circumstances:
- We shipped incorrect items to you
- We shipped faulty or damaged goods to you
When you have received free shipping on your order, and you are returning goods to us, making your order total under the amount for free shipping, we will refund you the amount of goods returned minus the shipping costs.
