These unique handmade monochrome brooches from Hannah Bould are made from glazed stoneware.
Each design is unique and they vary in size from 2.5cm to 4cm in length.
Ceramic Artist based in Archway, North London, England. All her work is handmade and wheel thrown, each piece is individual.
Hannah had her first pottery class 7 years ago and she was immediately hooked. At the time she was studying for a BA in illustration and working in a fine art print studio.
After studying with Helen Levi in New York she realised that it was possible to make ceramics her work! And thanks to Instagram her monochrome, painterly stoneware mugs, vases and bowls were picked up by the Conran shop amongst others and she could give up working for the studio and make ceramics her full time work.
Last year she collaborated with Merchant & Mills to design a printed linen.
