Amimono- The Artisan – Helga Isager

The inspiration for the patterns derive from garments and crafts from around the turn of the 19th century, before the industrialisation and mass production really began to make inroads in Europe.

The booklet contains very light, tight fitting blouses in lace patterns, but also more spacious models with jackets and sweaters in thicker tweed yarns.

The collection is kept in natural colours ranging from ivory to black-brown and all the pieces are knitted in Isager yarns.

The booklet has 82 pages and contains 10 patterns for women.

Extra Info

The ISAGER YARNS are renowned as classic yarn qualities made from natural fibres well suited for knitting both by hand and machine, for crochet, weaving, embroidery etc.
Yarns bearing the same numbers can replace each other and a number 1 yarn combined with a number 2 yarn can be worked together to make a yarn equivalent to a number 3 yarn.
All the wool qualities are ideal for felting

THE COLOUR RANGE has been created so the colours work well together both within and across the qualities. The colours are rarely changed.
The colours and qualities of the finer yarns can be mixed to create unique pieces.

It is important to us that our yarns are produced with the greatest amount of care taken to both animals and humans.
