Pom Pom Press is incredibly excited to publish the collaborative design series Interpretations by none other than Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki!

This series follows the journey of two friends from opposite sides of the world combining their love of their countries (Argentina and Finland) and beautiful knitwear. Volume 1 marked the beginning of an entirely new approach to designing, and their dream project has evolved to bring your their 6th volume.

Each volume includes six themes: six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes. These lovely books are destined to become collectors items, not to mention beautiful resources of patterns that you’re going to want to come back to time and again.

This volume sees Joji and Veera reflecting on 6 years of publishing, bringing a slightly more introspective take on their design process. The patterns all use monochromatic shades, a nod to the more thoughtful themes of Volume 6.

As we have felt with each book, we think this one is our best yet. Not because it’s wonderfully original and innovative, but because it is honest” – Joji & Veera

Volume 6 features 12 garment and accessory knitting patterns.

Printed in the UK // softcover // 116 pages // includes a digital copy  (a Ravelry download code will come with your book)

Pom Pom was founded in 2012 as a quarterly magazine that would present knitting, crochet, and craft in the modern, beautiful, and meaningful way. Mainly conceived as a collection of patterns complemented by thoughtful writing and useful tutorials, Pom Pom also celebrates the joy of making, hopefully without taking it all too seriously!
