Ellen Deckers is the woman behind by Pollevie. Ellen was born in Seria and grew up in England and the Netherlands. With her international background, she has developed a love for travel. Asia particularly appeals to her. The creative and colorful talent she inherited from her mother as a child at an early age. In addition to her crochet activities, she is a part-time kindergarten teacher.

First Ellen sold her handmade items at local markets. In 2013 she opened her online store on Etsy where she sells her crocheted creations. From 2016, she expanded this with her own websites and social media. Meanwhile, by Pollevie has more than 110,000 followers and fans around the world and still growing…

Besides that Ellen herself designs and crochets the most colorful new creations every day, she also writes crochet patterns and gives workshops. Most workshops are in the Netherlands but she also gives them internationally, for example in England, America, France and Denmark. In this way she combines her love for travel, crochet and teaching. This combination suits her perfectly.

Ellen is always open to new partnerships. Happy, colorful, crocheting and not taking yourself too seriously are paramount. She colors the world more beautiful every day. And together with her many others. The designs by Pollevie are frequently spotted on all continents.
