The much anticipated Ready Set Raglan is here – pompom magazine is delighted to introduce you to the collection of eight raglan jumpers! Each pattern within this book includes customisable options, such as colour blocking and variations on the neckline and hem, so you can make the jumpers of your dreams! Ready Set Raglan follows on from the much-loved learn-to-knit book, Knit How, and includes helpful tutorials and top tips much like its predecessor. All the patterns within Ready Set Raglan are top-down knits and are made to a worsted-weight gauge, which makes it easy to yarn substitute if you wish!

One of the many special things about this book is that the wonderful knitting community played an important part in many aspects of its creation. PPQ are so grateful to all the sample knitters and test knitters who helped shape the patterns, and to all of you who entered the competition to name the book. Knit How ended with a section titled ‘Ready, Set, Go’, so when McKenzie Kozman suggested Ready Set Raglan as a title, this was taken it as a positive sign and thought that her idea really captured the continuity between Knit How and Ready Set Raglan.

Ready Set Raglan by Pom Pom Press is the highly anticipated follow up to Knit How. Besides Ready Set Raglan, you can find all other PPQ magazines and books here.

Pom Pom press was founded in 2012 as a quarterly magazine that would present knitting, crochet, and craft in the modern, beautiful, and meaningful way. Mainly conceived as a collection of patterns complemented by thoughtful writing and useful tutorials, Pom Pom also celebrates the joy of making, hopefully without taking it all too seriously!

“Since our kitchen table beginnings, we’ve gone on to feature some of the most well-known and loved independent designers and yarn producers, with some of the less well-known also growing along with us. We are so proud and lucky to be able to say that Pom Pom is now stocked at over 250 locally-owned yarn and craft stores across four continents and 20 countries. At Pom Pom we know that knitters are creative, curious people – so we also include lots of other features we think you’ll enjoy – from cocktail recipes, to dyeing tutorials, to articles about 18th century paper cut artists! Basically anything we think will inspire you. We also take pride in every detail of our magazine, from the typefaces we use right down to the paper we’re printed on – knitters are tactile people after all! We have always been, and continue to be, printed in the United Kingdom.

Pom Pom continues to grow, and we very much value each and everyone of you along with us on the journey! We are so excited about bringing you more thoughtful, beautiful, joyful, educational, and inspirational knitted (and crocheted!) goodness for a long time to come.”
