This 96 page book includes:
- Knit instructions for UNIFORM Cardigan by Madder. A top down cardigan, written in two weights (worsted and sport/fingering) with numerous body, sleeve, hem, and finishing options. All still with their own unique look, made so you really want to knit all the different versions!
- Sewing instructions and paper pattern for UNIFORM Tunic by Grainline Studio. A lovely staple garment with two body, sleeve, and neckline options. (Tip: Paper pattern for Tunic is printed on both sides and will require tracing paper to create your pattern pieces. )
- A code for your digital download copy (e-book) is included.

Madder is founded by Carrie Bostick Hoge and she designs knit patterns and takes pictures. She lives in Maine (USA) with her husband, two daughters (Imogen above), three cats, and four chickens. She works on publishing Madder knit pattern books at her home studio. She is also the creator and Editor of Making, a publication for knitters & makers.
Grainline Studio originally began as the personal blog of Jennifer Beeman, the designer and pattern maker behind the patterns. It expanded in mid 2011 with our first pattern, the Tiny Pocket Tank, after receiving numerous requests for the patterns of the garments she was creating for herself. Jennifer studied fashion design at Columbia College where she focused on pattern making and technical design. Prior to graduating she began working as a pattern maker locally until quitting to pursue Grainline Studio full time in 2014.
