The inspiration behind the biches & bûches sweater design no. 55 was Astrid wanting a short and classic sweater with room for comfort and hygge.

the wool : it is the biches & bûches “le gros lambswool”, a natural and 100% lambswool from Scotland. The sweater is knitted with needles 4 mm/UK 8/US 6 + 4.5 mm/UK 7/US 7

skill level : 2 out of 5
techniques : knit stitch + purl stitch + short rows + picking up stitches.
construction : the sweater is knit in the round, and top down.

Wool requirements: xs 400g, s 500g, m 500g, l 600g, xl 600g, 2xl 700g, 3xl 700g

how to determine your size : take a sweater from your wardrobe that you love and measure its dimensions. it may not have the exact same shape, but it will give you an idea of the size to choose. the biches & bûches designs are intended loose, we suggest choosing a size a bit bigger than smaller ! <3
