Lamana is a young wool- and fashion label founded in 2010 in Bielefeld, Germany. They combine quality yarn and good design.

It all began once upon a time when love led Lamana to Peru. On their journey through this unique country, they came to discover and appreciate the ancient traditions of Peruvian yarn production, needlework and their meaning. This gave the founders the idea to produce yarn of exceptional quality on site by combining local natural fibres of high quality like for instance alpaca and Pima cotton using modern production facilities. Over time friendly cooperations developed and ever since the yarns are being produced by selected partners in Peru.

But not only are Lamana’s yarns an asset to DIY culture, but they also strive to create a new and fresh form vocabulary and engage in projects with other creative minds from the world of wool!
