Moomin x Novita Muumitalo yarn is one of the three products in the Moomin x Novita family. The colours are inspired by Tove Jansson’s classic Moomin books. Muumitalo (Moominhouse) is a DK weight yarn in single colour. Use it for socks and a wide range of adult’s and children’s knitwear and crochet patterns.
The yarn is made of 75 % wool and 25 % polyamide. One ball is sufficient for a pair of basic women’s socks. The products are machine washable at 40 degrees. The recommended needle size is 4 mm / US 6 and 3.5 mm / US 4 for socks. A 100 g ball has 225 metres of yarn. Made in Finland.
