Extra Info

“Susan Crawford Vintage is a  small, completely independent business run by me, Susan Crawford and my husband Gavin Crawford from a small farm in the North Lancashire hills.

We create, design and publish all our own publications and have our own ranges of wools commission spun and dyed to our precise requirements here in the UK.

My designs and articles have been widely published and I have appeared in the BBC 4 documentary, The Golden Age of Knitting.

I have written four books, A Stitch in Time volumes 1 and 2 (both in collaboration with Jane Waller), Vintage Gifts to Knit and Coronation Knits.

I am currently working on my fifth book, The Vintage Shetland Project, which is due to be published at the end of 2017.

I have recently recovered from breast cancer and am a passionate supporter of, and fund raiser for, my local charity CancerCare.”
