CaMaRose LamaTweed consists of Lamauld and Viscose. Lamauld is an exclusive, lightweight and strong natural product Peruvian highland wool. Viscose gives the yarn tweed effect. It also adds discreet shine and silky softness.
Lama wool is an exclusive natural product. It is lanolin-free, lightweight and strong. Thanks to a hollow structure of the fibers it has a particularly good insulating ability. Viscose, also called Rayon, is a natural product made from the plant material cellulose. It has a silky-like appearance in both gloss and softness.
It is a very soft, rustic and 1-thread lightweight shine with a finely tuned tweed effect.
The color chart is based on colors found in nature. It is perfect for children, classic sweaters, cardigans, outerwear, and blankets.
CaMaRose LamaTweed and Lamauld ½ are a good combination on your needlework. The two qualities can be interchangeable and knit together in patterns. The spinning and tweed technique give, in some places in the thread, slight variations in the thickness.
We recommend to hand wash the finished work, using wool detergent and dry it flat. However, you can wash it in the washing machine (wool wash/wool program max 30 ° C)
Lamatweed is produced in Peru with regard to the environment, animal welfare, the local farmers and workers. The manufacturer is oeko-tex certified on all its wool products and uses solar energy in production.
