Novita Woolly Wood yarn is made of TENCEL™ Modal and mulesing-free merino wool. The yarn is the first product in the new Novita Earth Collection, which offers environmentally more sustainable choices.
This eco fabric has natural breathability and 50% greater moisture absorption than cotton. Due to its moisture management, Tencel is also anti-bacterial.
This chain plied yarn brings out the beauty of textured knits, such as cable knits as it gives great stitch definition.
The yarn is a blend of 70% modal and 30% merino wool. The yarn is fully biodegradable.
A women’s size M top requires approx. 550 g of yarn and basic size 38 socks require one ball.
The yarn is machine washable at 30 degrees. The recommended needle size is 4mm or 3.5 mm for socks. A 100 g ball has 225 metres of yarn.
