This bespoke baby alpaca is truly one of a kind and only available at Cross & Woods. It feels incredibly lofty and soft. The fabulous chunky yarn was spun in a very unique way, using several colours of Huacaya alpaca in one skein. It is spun in a way that the yarn looks almost hand spun, resulting in a beautiful and intricate marled thread. Absolutely no two skeins are the alike!
Please note that the pictures shown are just a reference to give a general overview of each colourway and the variety between skeins. Even skeins from the same batch will come out completely different, which gives the yarn its unique character and signature look. Because of this, we unfortunately can’t guarantee and/or reserve certain skeins. With an online order, you will receive a random skein(s). For multiple skein projects, we advise you to alternate skeins while knitting or crocheting.
The Suzanne Baby Alpaca Chunky Pixie is made in Belgium at Tumulus Fiber Mill. This small organic mill works only with the best Alpaca fibres from the Benelux region, hand selected only from farms where animal welfare is key.
The fibres are spun, using only organic soap, ground water (not drinking water), energy from solar panels and certainly no chemicals are used in the production of the yarn.
