Tukuwool Sock is a very unique Finnish sock yarn. The woolen spun three-ply yarn is twisted tightly but gently to create a light and lively yarn for an enjoyable knitting experience. Tukuwool Sock contains a little bit of nylon to give the yarn more durability. The versatile yarn is designed for hand knitting and is well suited for various types of knits such as socks, mittens and more. Finnish wool has the original, natural hand and scent of the wool.
They have carefully chosen the colors with knitters in mind, listening to their wishes. There are both natural shades and dyed heathered colors.
For an adult size sock you will need two to three skeins and 3-3.5 mm (US 2.5-4) needles. You need approximately 450-600 g of Tukuwool Sock for a women’s cardigan depending on your gauge and pattern.
Handwash in cool water is recommended. Due to the spinning process there might be knots in the skeins.
Tukuwool Sock & Fingering are a 100% Finnish Wool blended with nylon. The wool is a mix of Finnsheep and a Finnsheep-Texel crossbreed. All spun and dyed in Finland.
