All the Petal prints are made on dyed fabric, which means that the base color is on both front and back side (not like digital print, where the backside is white).
They are all made of 100% LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose in a soft crepe quality – ‘Vera Crepe’.
It is made with ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres which is a sustainably certified viscose fibre. It’s made of pulp from wood that comes from certified and controlled wood sources. The production of ECOVERO™ Viscose only requires half the water compared to regular viscose production, and the CO2 emissions and use of fossil resources is half of conventional viscose production.
The ECOVERO™ fiber has been certified with the internationally recognized EcoLabel, which is only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The natural fibers from the wood makes the ECOVERO™ Viscose very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibres do not become static, they maintain their soft texture, and they keep the colours very well. The ECOVERO™ fibers are produced and certified by Austria-based Lenzing, which is behind the production and certification of the sustainable TENCEL™ fiber.
The fabric is also oeko-tex certified.
