Max Bringmann KG, brand name Folia®, was launched in 1965 and is still in the family. What began all those decades ago as a 3-person business producing aluminium foil items for the crafts market is now an international company with around 200 employees.
Over the years, Max Bringmann has become a market leader in Europe and now supplies customers around the world.
The history of Folia starts in 1965 when a three-person business was set up by Max Bringmann to sell aluminium foil for the crafts market.
The range of products expands so much that the company moves to new premises in January 1969. In 1971 the company moves its headquarters to Nürnberg-Altenfurt industrial estate: this is an opportunity to find more a permanent site and expand production capacity. In 1981 the company sets up its own print shop. Production processes are optimised and the product range extended. One after the other, all three brothers (Alexander, Markus and Michael Bringmann) join their father’s business, where they still work today.
