Making the Most of Ravelry

So, maybe you’ve heard about this most amazing website for knitters and crocheters, but holy moly it’s overwhelming! Join Sara in this 1,5 hour workshop to learn how to make the most of Ravelry, keeping your needles, hooks, and yarn organized, documenting your projects and finding that perfect pattern!

Ravelry is an inclusive, friendly website for knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, and dyers. Ravelry holds thousands of patterns, for knitting and crochet, in all languages, styles, sizes, for absolute beginners to those who have been knitting or crocheting for decades.

However, Ravelry is not only a database with patterns, it has so many nifty features to help you on your fibre journey. You can find yarn companies, shops, designers and even your crafty friends.  There are forums, organizing tools and so much more. A lot to untangle!

This course will teach you

• How to adjust your Ravelry preferences 
• How to navigate the site
• How to use the stash and tools functions 
• How to add your projects and project notes
• How to refine and use the pattern search functions to find your perfect pattern

If you already have specific questions about how to use Ravelry please email us in advance so we can make sure to try and cover all desired topics.

What skills will you need?
Basic computer literacy is required. You should already have a Ravelry account and know your username and password.

Please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet, and/or a notebook and pen to take notes.
