Have you always wanted to knit a sweater, but you don’t know where to begin? Then this course is the right thing for you.
In this course of five lessons, we’ll teach you how to set up, knit and finish a top-down raglan sweater of your choice.
The course starts on the 31st of October and will run through to 5 December.

What skills do you need?
You need only to be able to knit and purl with confidence, and to be able to correct your knitting mistakes. During the class you’ll make a raglan, so you’ll need to increase stitches from two sides.
You don’t have to have any experience knitting sweaters; this could be your first sweater. If you’re wondering whether this project is for you, please contact us for more information!

What will you make?
In six weeks, you’ll knit (and ideally complete) your first top-down raglan sweater from cast-on to finishing. You may bring your own pattern and yarn for it; please check with us whether the pattern is suitable for the course if you’re unsure.

What will you need?

  • knitting needles (circular or DPNs),
  • a pattern of your choice (MUST BE top-down with a raglan). Please check your pattern with us before the course begins.
  • enough time to complete the different phases between the classes. You will probably have to make time for this, but the result will be rewarding!
  • Yarn that matches your pattern.

Dates
This course is designed for a specific amount of lessons. Please make sure you’re available for all dates to get the most out of the course.
Dates are: 31.10.2020, 14.11.2020, 28.11.2020, 5.12.2020. The lessons take place from 11.00 – 13.00.
