Since making and mindfulness are interwoven terms, we’re especially excited to announce our first Mindful Mending workshop!

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we all sometimes find ourselves feeling stressed, tired and disconnected.
However, you can find peace and renewing energy through the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness can be cultivated through meditations and doing things in a mindful way.
In our Mindful Mending workshop, you will learn to repair and restore your favourite items, giving a new life to old belongings.

Stitch by stitch, you will discover the joy and satisfaction of creating by hand in a mindful way

What will you learn and do?

  • You’ll be introduced to the concept of mindfulness
  • Short meditation
  • You’ll learn about the tools needed for mending
  • You’ll learn about mending techniques and mend an item of your own

Needed for this workshop:
A garment that needs mending, knit or not knit! This can be a pair of jeans, your favourite jumper or some socks you want to make last.
We have everything else for you here.

The workshop will take place on Sunday 1 November, from 1PM to 4PM.

Due to Covid-19, we advise wearing a mask during the lesson. Your seat will be at an appropriate distance from other participants.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 48 hours or more before the scheduled workshop are eligible for a refund or (if possible) to be re-booked at no additional cost.
