What will you learn?
This 3 hour workshop will teach you the basics to raised embroidery. You’ll learn a useful set of different stitches that will set you well on your way to your first project of 3-D embroidery.
Skill level
This is an intermediate level workshop and basic knowledge of embroidery is required. If you’ve done the introduction to embroidery class first, you can continue into this class.
Included in the workshop is the use of:
- embroidery hoop
- embroidery floss
- embroidery needles
After class there is an option to purchase hoops, extra threads and needles with a 10% discount.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 48 hours or more before the scheduled workshop are eligible for a refund or (if possible) to be re-booked at no additional cost. / Wij hanteren een opzegtermijn van 48 uur. Our Introduction to Raised Embroidery workshop is taught by Sarita.
Sarita from Mindful Cactus is a psychologist and sociologist. The focus of her theoretical practice lies in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Having lived in Canada and Hong Kong before, Sarita now has been living in Scheveningen over the past seven years. Teaches workshops with a focus on Mindfulness and making, from Mending and embroidery to cooking.
