    Workshop description:
Cyanotype is a  technique that involves laying an object on paper or fabric coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing it with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
It’s a very fun and easy technique where you can photograph patterns in fabric or paper

During this workshop we will make prints of various materials like flowers, leaves and other interesting (natural) structures.

The nice thing about this technique is that you can vary endlessly and play with shape, exposure time and material. We work on fabric and you will be introduced to the possibilities of cyanotype. During this 2,5 hour workshop, you will learn to work on compositions, create new patterns, or play with different layers while discovering the cyanotopy technique.

Everyone makes their work individually, but we will research technique as a group, so that you can master the technique together and give each other ideas.

    This workshop will teach you:
    • introduction to the cyanotopy technique
    • How to prepare the fabric ( impregnating )
    • How to apply design
