Learn to Knit Workshop

Our Learn to Knit class is a great class to start your knitting journey — or to refresh your skills. Just the basics to start you off for your first simple project!
This is a beginners’ class, so you don’t need to have any previous knitting experience.

In this class you will:

• Learn to cast on your project
• Learn the 2 basic knitting stitches: knitting and purling 
• Cast off a project
  

Classes

You can book this class with or without materials included. If you choose to bring your own materials, preferably bring wooden or bamboo (circular) needles that match the thickness of your thread.

Materials included:

• 1 ball of wool
• 1 pair of circular knitting needles

You’ll take these home after class.

No materials included:

• Bring your own yarn and matching needles, preferably thickness 4-6mm

The class takes approximately 2 hours. We’ll provide you with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.
Classes on Saturdays take place from 10.30 - 12.30.

During the workshop you will receive a 10% discount on all the knitting related materials you’ll get for your first project. *

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 48 hours or more before the scheduled workshop are eligible for a refund or (if possible) to be re-booked at no additional cost.

Onze Learn to Knit les is een perfecte  manier om je brei carrière te starten, om of je vaardigheden op te frissen! Je leert de basics om je eerste breiproject te beginnen.
Dit is een beginnersles, dus je hoeft nog niet te kunnen breien. 

In deze les leer je:

• hoe je een project opzet
• De 2 basis breisteken: rechts en averechts breien
• Afkanten van je project

Lessen

Je kunt de workshop met en zonder materiaal inbegrepen boeken. Als je kiest om zelf de materialen mee te nemen, let dan goed op dat je het liefst houten of bamboo (rondbrei)naalden meeneemt, voor de juiste dikte garen.

Materiaal inbegrepen:

• 1 bol wol
• 1 rondbreinaald

Deze mag je na de les mee naar huis nemen om verder aan de slag te gaan.

Geen materiaal inbegrepen:

• Breng je eigen garen en bijbehorende maat (rondbrei)naalden mee, het liefst iets tussen de 4-6mm

De les duurt ongeveer 2 uur. We houden je zoet met thee, koffie en iets lekkers.
Onze breilessen zijn op zaterdagen van 10.30-12.30 uur.

Tijdens de les ontvang je 10% korting op alle breigerelateerde benodigdheden voor je eerste breiproject. *

*Uitgezonderd zijn alle sale items, boeken, patronen en cadeaubonnen.

Afzeggen kan tot 48 uur voor de les. Wij vragen je daarom de workshop uiterlijk 48 uur van te voren af te zeggen, zodat we deze dan kosteloos voor je kunnen verplaatsen (indien mogelijk) of kunnen vergoeden.
